Liturgical Ministry to St. Francis of Assisi Parish
We invite everyone to consider serving the body of Christ through liturgical ministry. Liturgical ministers serve the community by assisting, leading, and supporting the community during Holy Mass. There is no experience required. We are always willing to train. Just a heart to serve the Lord and bring Him to others. Scheduling is very flexible, and the more ministers we have the lighter the load for everyone. Please fill out the form below or contact the parish office for more information.
Roles Include:
Lector: reads the word of God at Mass
Eucharistic Minister: dispenses the Body ofChrist to the congregation (must be confirmed Catholic)
Server/Acolyte: assist the priest at Mass(must have received 1st holy communion)
Sacristan:prepare the sanctuary for Mass ahead of time
Usher: orchestrate offertory collection, hand out bulletins
Greeter: welcome people as they enter church, notice new people and answer questions.
